Apogeo Spatial has entered into a Strategic Partnership with Geospatial World, with relevant articles appearing in both publications.
Apogeo Spatial has been sharing vital Earth Science data and information for 35 years, originally as a newsletter called EO Sat Notes (Earth Observation Notes), then in the 2000’s as Imaging Notes magazine, when Blueline Publishing acquired it from then-Space Imaging. In 2013, the brand of Apogeo Spatial was created from this powerful legacy of sharing why governments, academia and enterprises would use remotely sensed data. For almost 20 years, we curated and created amazing content with stunning graphics, online and in print, until 2020.
The Apogeo Spatial mission is to communicate the power of geospatial tools and technologies in managing the world’s scarce resources and environment, so that humanity has the security of water, food, energy, safety and sovereignty.
When I attended the Geoint Symposium in June, the Director of the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA), Robert Cardillo stated that the NGA wants to be as successful in the unclassified world as in the classified world. “Open is…
Louisiana loses 30 miles of wetlands to the Gulf of Mexico every year ñ a football field every 37 minutes. Eighty-one miles of roadway from Miami-Dada County to Palm Beach, Fla., would be under water if sea level goes…
The work to recover and rebuild following an earthquake requires reliable information on the condition of structures in the affected areas. In developed areas, efforts to gather this information can be time-consuming and prone to errors, often resulting in…
Earth observations and geospatial information are critical in providing data to first responders and policy-makers after natural disasters have occurred. Satellite imagery, communications, and position, navigation, and timing capabilities are playing an increasingly important role in government and industry…
Currently, billions of individuals in every major world region— and billions of dollars worth of commerce—are supported by satellite-based broadcasting and telecommunications. VSAT, short for very small aperture terminal, are earthbound stations used in satellite communications of data, voice,…
